Shivatmay Foundation

Our setup is right by Gupta Hospital on Churech Road in Sadar Bazar. It's a busy part of Saharanpur, especially being so close to the Thana. You can hear the sirens and the general hustle of the market from the windows. Shivatmay Foundation operates from this spot, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze some days. We have a lot of people coming in and out because the hospital is right there. The building is older, but it has some character. Working in Sadar Bazar means you never have a quiet lunch break. There’s always someone selling something or people rushing to the station. We’ve got a few rooms where we keep all our supplies and records. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's more like a lived-in space. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Saharanpur gets dusty, so we’re always wiping down the desks. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the main road gets blocked for a parade or something. We drink a lot of chai during the winter months when it gets chilly. It’s a simple operation here. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It's the kind of place where people stop by just to say hello or ask for directions.
