Saksham Hospital

Saksham Hospital is right on Delhi Road in the Officer Colony area of Saharanpur. If you know the Ho Delhi Road part, we're basically right there. It’s a busy spot, but we’ve been here for a while now. The building is easy enough to find once you get into the colony. Most days start early for us because there’s always someone waiting at the door before we even get the keys out. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that, just rows of chairs and the usual hospital smell that you get used to after five minutes. The staff stays busy moving from room to room. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone seems to show up at once. It’s just how things go here. We have different floors for different things, and the lift works most of the time, though taking the stairs is usually faster if you’re able and in a hurry. Saharanpur can get quite hot in the summer months, so we try to keep the ceiling fans going at full speed. People come in from all over the local area, not just the colony nearby. It's a plain place, really. We just focus on getting through the patient list and making sure folks get seen. There’s a tea stall not too far away where the staff usually grabs a quick break when things quiet down. We don’t spend much time on decorations or looking slick. It’s just a regular hospital doing its job on a main road.
