Sachdeva Catering

We operate our business from Rameshwar Mandir Road in Saharanpur. This is the Pul Khumran area, which is an old and busy part of the city. We don't have a restaurant where you can come and sit down for a meal. Instead, we focus on catering for events and family gatherings around town. We have a large space where we keep all our big cooking pots and heavy-duty burners. When we have a big order, the whole place is full of the smell of onions and spices being fried. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy crates and moving large containers of food. My brother and I have been doing this for many years. We learned the trade from our father. We don't have a fancy office with a desk. We usually just meet people right here in the kitchen or talk to them on the phone. The street outside is quite narrow, which makes it a bit of a challenge when we are trying to load the vans for a delivery. Sometimes we are working late into the night to get everything ready for an early morning function. We don't use any pre-made stuff; we chop everything ourselves. It’s a messy, loud environment but it’s what we know. We don't have a glossy brochure. Word of mouth in Saharanpur is how people find us. We just focus on getting the food to the party on time.
