You can find Ramayan Hospital right near the water tank in Sant Vihar. That water tank is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who is lost. Sant Vihar is usually a bit quieter than the main city parts, which makes it a good spot for a hospital. The building is a bit square and plain, but it has plenty of room inside. We have a lot of windows, so we get some good natural light in the wards during the day. I spend a lot of my time walking between the different rooms or checking the supplies in the closet. The atmosphere is generally calm, though it picks up in the evenings when visitors come by. We have a few trees outside that give some shade to the people waiting for their relatives. Sometimes the water tank makes a humming noise when it’s being filled, but we’ve all gotten used to it by now. The chairs in our waiting room are mismatched because we’ve added more over the years as we needed them. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that; people just know us through word of mouth or by seeing the building near the tank. It’s a straightforward place where we just try to take care of the folks who live nearby. It is just us doing our jobs day in and day out without much drama.
