Al Diwan Impex

If you go down to 12/632 Purani Mandi Chowk, you’ll find the office for Al Diwan Impex. The chowk is always a mess of rickshaws, motorbikes, and people carrying sacks on their shoulders. It’s a lively place, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Our office is right in the thick of it. We do a lot of import and export work, so there are always piles of documents on the desks and samples of goods tucked into every corner. It’s not a very big space, and it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of shipments going out at once. We spend hours on the phone talking to transport agents and checking on the status of containers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the logistics to worry about that. We have a small crew that handles all the packing and the paperwork. Most of the people around here have known us for years. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy brochures because word of mouth in the Mandi is usually enough. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes stressful deadlines when the ships are about to leave. We just focus on getting the crates packed securely and making sure the labels are in the right place before the truck arrives. It's noisy and dusty, but it is where we do our business.
