Ms Hardware. If you are looking for us, we are near Nehru Market in Lohani Sarai. Being right near Nehru Market means it’s a busy spot with people always walking past the door. The shop is full of tools, nails, paint, and everything else you’d expect. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to stock a lot of things. Sometimes I can’t even find a specific wrench without looking for a minute. People from the neighborhood come in for small things, like a single bolt or a bag of cement. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to get stuff off the high shelves. The dust is a constant battle here in Lohani Sarai. We open up early because that’s when the builders start their work. It gets loud and a bit chaotic in the afternoons. We don’t use any computers for the inventory, just a notebook and memory. It works for us. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is the best part of the morning. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but hardware stays the same. People always need to fix a pipe or hang a picture.
