We’ve been running Kukreja Polycot Private Limited from our spot at Pul Sabji Mandi for quite some time now. If you know Saharanpur, you know how busy the Thana Kotwali area gets. It's crowded but that's just how business is here. We deal mainly with polycot fabrics. We started out small and just kept at it day after day. Most mornings start early because the market wakes up before the sun is even fully up. We have our warehouse right here. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just shelves full of material and a few desks for paperwork. People come in and out all day. Sometimes the tea guy stops by more often than the customers. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with textiles means you have to know the touch of the cloth. My father taught me that. We don't use big computers for everything, still rely on a lot of manual checking. The address is 4/911, right near the vegetable market. It can be hard to find a parking spot during peak hours. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Saharanpur is a good place for this kind of work. The weather gets really hot in the summer, but the fans keep us going. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to supply good fabric to those who need it. That's pretty much who we are.
