You can find Kenwood Handicrafts over on Mandi Samiti Road. We are situated in a place called Seasoning Lane, right near Faisal Nursery. The address is 11/17/15D. It’s an interesting part of town because of all the different trades happening around us. Being in Seasoning Lane makes sense for what we do since wood needs a lot of care before it can be turned into something useful. The smell of cut wood is usually in the air around here. Our workspace is more of a workshop than a fancy store. We have tools laying around and half-finished pieces sitting on the benches. It’s a bit dusty, which is just the nature of the work. We aren't trying to be a corporate brand. We are just craftspeople who spend our time making things by hand. The nursery nearby adds a bit of green to the view when we step outside for a break. Sometimes we get visitors who are looking for something specific, and other times we are just working on our own projects for hours. It’s quiet work mostly, interrupted by the sound of saws or hammers. We’ve been in this location for a while and the locals know where to find us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the craft, one piece at a time. It's a slow process but we think that's the right way to do it.
