Our place is located on Chilkana Road. It’s a familiar street for most people around here. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, and it has definitely seen better days, but it serves us well. The walls are a bit scuffed and there’s always a bit of clutter near the entrance, but that’s just how a working shop looks. We spend our days working on different handicraft projects. There isn’t a set schedule that stays the same every week; it usually depends on what needs to be finished first. The light in the workshop is okay in the mornings, which is when most of the fine work happens. We aren’t a huge corporation with departments and managers. It’s just a handful of us who understand how the materials behave. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought it would, and we stay late to get it right. Chilkana Road can get pretty crowded during the day, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We don’t mind it much anymore. It feels like part of the atmosphere. People stop by sometimes just to see what we are making. We don’t have a big showroom or anything, just the benches where we work and some shelves for the finished bits. It’s a simple setup for people who like working with their hands and don't mind a little mess.
