At Inaya Infratech LLP, we mostly work out of this house in New Madho Nagar. House No. 6/6039 to be exact. Saharanpur is a busy place and being here in this part of town means we see a lot of people passing by every day. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle the infrastructure side of things. The office gets a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate with workers at different sites across Uttar Pradesh. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking to make sure the materials arrived at the right spot. Some days are better than others. Last week we had a bit of a delay because of the heat, which makes it hard for the guys outside. We try to be fair and just get the work finished. There’s no point in making things sound more complicated than they are. We take on projects, find the right people to do them, and see them through until the end. It’s practical work. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we know the local area well. If you come by the Saharanpur office, you’ll probably find one of us drinking tea and looking at a pile of bills or blueprints on the table.
