In Vogue

In Vogue is located at A-51 in Vasant Vihar, right near the Gurudwara on Delhi Road. It’s a busy spot with plenty of people walking by every day. Our shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff onto the racks and shelves. We spend most of our time folding clothes and helping people find their sizes when they come in. The light in the front window is good, but it makes the fabrics fade if we leave things there too long. We change the displays whenever we get a moment, usually on Tuesday mornings when it’s a bit slower. There is a lot of noise from the traffic on Delhi Road, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and a kettle for making tea. Sometimes the regulars stop in just to chat for a bit while they are out running errands. We try to keep the place tidy, though it’s tough when it gets crowded on the weekends. We don't use any fancy computer systems; we still write most things down in a ledger. It’s a simple way to run things and it has worked for us so far. We’ve been here for a while and we like seeing the same faces coming back. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood, just a small shop doing its thing every day.
