Hashmi Wood Handicrafts

Hashmi Wood Handicrafts is located at 14/275/2, Abdul Salam Road in Qutub Sher. This area is known for its craftsmanship, so we fit right in. The smell of wood sawdust is pretty much everywhere inside our shop. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. It is a lot of manual work with saws, chisels, and sandpaper. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of dust or stain by lunch. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our items are just stacked on tables or leaning against the walls. People come in and see what we are currently making. It is a very practical space. The road outside, Abdul Salam Road, is always busy with people moving back and forth. We have been in this specific spot for quite some time now. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule. We start when the sun is up and stay until the project for the day is mostly done. Sometimes we have a lot of scrap wood lying around that we have to clear out. It is just the nature of working with wood. We don't use any fancy machinery, mostly just the stuff that has worked for years. If you walk past, you will probably hear the sound of hammering or someone sanding down a table leg. It is just what happens here every day. We are just a small group of people making things together in this workshop.
