Our place, Global Old Tyres, sits right at No. 13/1894 on Korebandan Street in Bazar Nakhasa. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a busy, cramped kind of place. We deal mostly with tyres that have seen some miles. There are stacks of them everywhere you look. The smell of old rubber is something you just get used to after the first few days. We spend a lot of time outside on the street, moving things around or checking the tread on a set that just came in. It’s a lot of physical work, rolling tyres and stacking them high. The shop isn't much more than a room and some space on the sidewalk. Bazar Nakhasa is always loud, with people shouting and horns honking, but we like it. It feels like things are always moving. We get all kinds of people coming by, mostly looking for a bargain or a specific size for an old truck. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we just know what we have by looking at the piles. Sometimes the dust gets to you, but we just carry on. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and everyone around here knows where we are. Just look for the piles of tyres on Korebandan Street and you'll find Global Old Tyres. We keep the doors open and just wait for the next customer to walk up.
