Our council is over on Delhi Road in Saharanpur, specifically at Premnagar right across from the ITI. Being on such a busy road means we see a lot of traffic and people passing by. Exquite Social Welfare And Peace Council is based out of Bhuvneshwer Prasad Dixit’s location, which is pretty easy for locals to find. Inside, things are kept simple. We have a few rooms where the desks are set up. Most of the time we’re just sitting there, talking to folks who come in or handling paperwork. We aren't some big government agency or a giant multi-national group. Instead, we’re just a local group trying to keep things peaceful and helpful around here. There’s usually a lot of noise from the trucks outside, so we often keep the windows shut when it’s hot. We don’t really do those polished speeches or corporate presentations. We just get on with it. A lot of the day goes into checking on little projects or making notes in our registers. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works fine for us. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. The people over at the ITI know who we are. We don't have any massive goals, we just take it one day at a time. It’s a small team here, but we keep the files tidy and the coffee pot full. That’s plenty to keep us moving.
