Up in Saharanpur, you can find Era Construction India Ltd. at H.No. -5/6441 in the Radha Vihar area, near Gopal Nagar. We are right by the Numaish Camp, which most people around here know. It’s a quiet enough spot for an office, though the construction sites we work on are usually anything but quiet. We’ve been involved in building projects around Saharanpur for quite some time. It is a different pace of life here compared to the bigger cities, but the work is just as demanding. We spend our days checking on progress and making sure we have enough cement and sand to keep the crews busy. Our office is just a room with some desks and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. We have built some good relationships with the local merchants over the years, which helps when we need things in a hurry. Construction is one of those jobs where you can see exactly what you’ve accomplished at the end of the day, and that feels good. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just want to keep doing our work steadily. It is a decent living and we enjoy being part of the local scene.
