Dr. Rajesh Jain Clinic

We are right in the heart of the Main Bazar. There isn't a building number or anything like that because everyone just knows the market. It’s a very loud and busy place to have a clinic. All day long, you hear the shouting of the vendors and the bells of the bicycles. We are tucked between a cloth shop and a small eatery. The clinic has a simple storefront. Inside, it’s just one long room divided by a curtain. We have some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. The floor is concrete and easy to wash down at the end of the day. It gets very dusty with all the people walking past outside. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to keep things very organized. There’s a small desk where we write everything down in a big register. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but our clinic stays the same. People come in while they are doing their shopping. It’s a very informal place. Sometimes it’s so noisy we have to talk a bit louder to be heard. But that is just life in the bazar. We are used to it. It’s a busy, messy, and honest place to work. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Sometimes the neighbor from the chai stall brings us a cup of tea when we are free.
