Doctor Shahnawaz Ahmed

If you're heading down Gangoh Road in Saharanpur, you'll find me near the Badi Naher. My name is Doctor Shahnawaz Ahmed and this is where I’ve set up my practice in Manakmau. It’s a decent spot, right by the canal where it's a bit cooler sometimes. People know the landmark well. I’ve been here in the 247001 area for a good while. The clinic isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, just a regular building like the others on the street. I spend most of my day inside seeing patients from the local neighborhoods. It gets busy during the rainy season, you know how it is. Folks come in with all sorts of problems. I try to listen to everyone, even when there's a line out the door. Sometimes the traffic on Gangoh Road makes a lot of noise, but we get used to it. I don't have a receptionist with a headset or a fancy waiting room. It’s just chairs and a desk. Most people around here know me by now. I grew up not too far from here, so it feels right to be working in this part of Saharanpur. The water in the naher flows by and we just keep on working. It’s a simple life, helping people feel better. I don't put up posters or anything like that. Just my name on the door and word of mouth keeps us going month after month.
