Dairy King Ice Cream

You can find Dairy King Ice Cream over in Basharatpur on the street everyone calls Church Wali Gali. We are right on Transformer Road, and the Bank of Baroda is just a short walk away from our front door. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. The sound of the transformer is something you just get used to after a while. We spend a lot of our time making sure the shop stays tidy because people are always coming in after finishing their business at the bank. The church nearby means we get a lot of people on Sundays, which is usually our busiest time of the week. The freezers are old but they still do the job of keeping everything solid. We don't have a lot of space for people to hang around inside, so most customers just grab what they want and head back out to the street. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and moving things around to find the right flavors. The lighting is just some basic tubes on the ceiling, and the walls have a few posters that have been there for years. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a local spot where you can get an ice cream without any fuss. The routine doesn't change much from day to day, and that suits us just fine. We just keep an eye on the stock and keep the doors open for anyone walking past.
