About Chintpurni Mills Private Limited – Textile in Saharanpur
You can find us over on Behat Road, not too far from the Sanskrit Mahavidyalay. It’s an old part of Saharanpur and the building has been around for quite a while. We go by 6/1194. Inside, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a mill. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there is always a layer of fine dust from the cotton. We’ve got machines that have been working hard for years. Sometimes they need a bit of a kick to stay going, but they get the job done. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we’ve known each other for ages. It’s not a fancy place where people wear suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in grease or thread bits. The road outside is always full of traffic, which makes getting the trucks in a bit of a dance every afternoon. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If people want to know about our cloth, they usually just come by and feel it for themselves. We spend our days watching the looms and making sure the thread doesn't snap every five minutes. It’s repetitive work, but there is a rhythm to it that you get used to. We just focus on the production and try to keep things running smoothly despite the heat and the noise. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep the wheels turning.
