M. M. Overseas

We operate from a building along Chilkana Road. It’s a long road with a lot of different businesses, and we’ve been part of this stretch for quite some time now. At M. M. Overseas, we don’t really go in for big displays or flashy signs. Our work is mostly focused on the logistics of moving goods across borders, which involves a lot of time spent on the computer and the phone. The office is pretty functional, with desks piled with folders and ledgers. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paperwork, but that’s just how this kind of business goes. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the ins and outs of shipping and regulations. The view out the window is just the passing traffic on Chilkana Road, which can be quite busy during the harvest season. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. We just show up every morning, check our emails, and make sure the shipments are moving like they should. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There’s no secret to what we do; it’s just about being careful with the details and making sure the numbers add up. We’re just a regular group of people working hard in a local office, trying to keep the business running smoothly.
