Cheema Tour & Travels

So, we’ve been running Cheema Tour & Travels out of Village Punden for some time now. It’s a quiet place here in Saharanpur, but things get busy when someone needs to get to the city or catch a train. We started this because there weren't many reliable ways for people in the village to travel long distances without a lot of hassle. My cousins and I mostly handle the driving and the bookings. Sometimes the phones are ringing off the hook, and other times we’re just sitting under the tree waiting for the next call. We’ve got a couple of cars that we keep as clean as we can, though the village roads can be a bit dusty in the summer. It’s not a fancy office or anything like what you see in the big cities. It’s just us here at the post office area. People know where to find us if they have a wedding to go to or need to get someone to the hospital in an emergency. We don't really do big ads or posters; mostly it's just neighbors telling neighbors about us. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the weather is bad and the roads get muddy, but we manage to get through it. We know these roads around Saharanpur like the back of our hands. We just try to show up on time and make sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble. That's about it for us.
