If you are looking for Bhartiya Kala Kunj, you have to head toward Kewal Ram’S Building on Court Road. We are right near the G.P.O, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where the post office is. Also, we are directly opposite the Indian Bank, so if you see people queuing for the ATM, you are pretty much there. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old wood and paper that you only find in these types of structures. Our space is up a few steps, and it’s usually filled with whatever projects we are currently working on. It’s not a very large place, so things tend to pile up near the entrance. The windows let in a bit of light, but it stays fairly cool inside because of the thick walls. Working on Court Road means it’s always busy outside with people heading to the offices or the bank. You hear the honking of rickshaws all day long, which you just get used to after a week. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet people at the door. Usually, whoever isn't busy just looks up and says hello. It’s a bit of a cramped setup, but we have everything we need within reach. We’ve been here in this part of town for quite some time now, just doing our thing and keeping the shop open for whoever stops by.
