Dakpathar is near the water, and the air feels different. The building we are in is at C107. It’s where we handle the coffee business for this region. It’s not a café where you sit and drink; it’s more of an administrative and storage spot. We have sacks of beans and a lot of paperwork. The office is simple. We have a couple of old desks and a computer that’s a bit slow. The hills are nearby, so the weather is usually nicer than in the plains, though it gets very cold in the winter. We just wear extra sweaters and keep working. The staff here are all local people. We don't have a big fancy sign. We just know where everything is. It’s a very practical setup. We spend our time checking inventory and making sure the supplies are going where they need to go. It’s a steady pace. We aren't in a rush. The Tons Coloney area is peaceful enough. We just do our bit for the coffee company from this corner of Dehradun. Sometimes the rain makes the road muddy, but we manage. It is just life in the hills. We keep the kettle going and the lights on. It is okay here at C107. We stay busy enough with the deliveries.
