Baliya Kheri Organic Farmer Producercompany Limited

We started this group out of Baliya Kheri because a bunch of us farming around here wanted to handle things ourselves. It is mostly local people from Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar working together. Rajesh Kumar is the one looking after things from his place at Kankar Kooi. We focus on organic farming because that is how we wanted to work our land. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that, just a group of farmers trying to make a living. Most days you can find us dealing with the crops or talking to other growers in the district. The address is over at Rajesh's house, which is how these things usually start out in our part of the world. We have been at it for a while now, just trying to get our produce sorted and sold without too much trouble. It takes a lot of time to get the organic stuff right, but we keep at it. Saharanpur is a good place for this kind of work. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation, just a local producer company made of people who actually know the soil. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but having the group helps us stay organized. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the village area. It's a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We just want to do right by the land and the people eating what we grow. It is just plain farming work.
