Balaji Ice Cream

We are over in Salempur, right near the Punjab National Bank branch and the Kotwali area. It’s a central spot, which makes it easy for people to find us, though it does get quite crowded on the days when the bank is busy. Our building is just a simple one on the main road, nothing special to look at. We’ve been here for a while, and the place has its own little problems, like the back door that gets stuck when it rains. We don't use any high-tech management stuff; we just talk to each other and get the orders filled. The proximity to the bank means there are always people walking past, and having the Kotwali nearby makes the street feel a bit different. Our workspace is mostly taken up by the cold storage units and the area where we pack things up. It’s often a bit noisy because of the trucks outside and the cooling motors running inside. We don't go in for big advertisements or catchy slogans. We just think that if we show up and do the work every day, that's what matters. Every morning starts with a quick check of the temperatures and a look at the delivery list for the local vendors. It's a straightforward business with no extra frills. We’re just local people in Salempur, keeping things moving as best as we can through the seasons.
