Atif Mustafa Cement Store

Atif Mustafa Cement Store is located on Local Street 12 in Bakaranka, which is in the Saharanpur District. Our post office is Bartha Kayastha, and the bus stand is just a short walk away. This location is pretty good because the buses bring in people from all the surrounding villages. We deal mostly in cement, as the name says, but we have a few other things for building too. The store is basically a large room where we stack the bags as high as we can safely go. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, and we usually have to help the customers load their carts or small trucks. The air in here always smells a bit like stone and earth. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a small table where we keep our accounts. Sometimes the street gets muddy when it rains, and that makes it hard for the heavy trucks to get close to the door. We have to be patient on those days. Most of our customers are local farmers or workers who are building their own small places. They don't want a lot of talk, they just want a fair price and good material. We try to give them that. It's a simple business in a quiet part of the district, and we like it that way. No big city stress for us here. We just focus on the bags and the bills.
