At 11-B/2903, Lane No 15 in Sabri Bagh, you’ll find us working away. Saharanpur is known for its craftsmanship, but at Angles Instruments, we focus on the technical side of things. It’s a small space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the tools and parts lying around. We’ve been in this lane for quite some time. The neighbors know the sound of our workshop. We make various instruments that people use in labs or for measuring things. It’s precise work, so it takes a lot of patience. My father started this years ago, and I just took over because it’s what I know how to do. We don't spend money on big ads or a website that looks like it's from the future. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking in. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the afternoon. We clean it up, then start all over again the next morning. Sometimes the deliveries get stuck because the lane is so narrow, but we manage. It isn't a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps the hands busy. We use old desks that have seen better days, but the equipment we produce works like it should. That's what matters to us and the folks who buy from us. We usually keep the doors open for a breeze.
