Albatross Institute Of Maritime Studies

We are at the Meedo Complex on the Lind floor here in Saharanpur. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle everything related to maritime studies. People come here when they want to get into the merchant navy or work on ships. Saharanpur is quite far from the sea, so it might seem odd to have a maritime school here, but it works for the local students who don't want to travel to the coast just yet. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. Once you get inside, it’s mostly just desks and posters of ships on the walls. We spend a lot of time talking to young guys who have big dreams of seeing the world. Usually, someone is always on the phone or filling out forms. It gets a bit noisy when the afternoon classes start, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes papers pile up on the main desk. If you are looking for the place, just find the Meedo Complex and head upstairs. Most people in the building know where we are if you get lost. It’s a quiet enough area during the mornings. We’ve been here for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the electricity stays on and the fans work. That is what matters when you are sitting through a long lecture about navigation or safety rules at sea. We just try to keep things moving.
