Our little office is located in Vill Tiwaya, which is right by the Kailashpur post office in Saharanpur. We are based out of Goverdhan Dass’s place. The full name we use is Aj Yogyta Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited. We are right in the heart of the 247001 area. It is a very rural setting, which is fine by us. Most of the people we see every day are farmers or small shop owners from around the village. We started this because we saw a need for a place where people could trust their neighbors with their savings. It is not like the big banks in the city where nobody knows your name. Here, we know everyone’s family history. We sit on the porch sometimes when the weather is nice and talk through the accounts. It is a very informal way of doing things, but we are very strict about the numbers. Everything has to add up at the end of the day. Being in Saharanpur, we get all kinds of weather, but the office stays open. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just have a sign and a door that is usually open. It is a simple life and a simple business. We focus on helping the local community keep their money safe and maybe grow it a little bit over time. That is all there is to it.
