Ahluwalia Musica Cassette& Travel Agent

We’ve got our shop, Ahluwalia Musica Cassette & Travel Agent, located at Shop No. 2/800 on Court Road. We are right across from the Nirankari place in Saharanpur. It’s a bit of an unusual combination, I suppose. We’ve been around since the days when everyone bought music cassettes, and we still have that as part of our name even though things have changed a lot. We also handle travel bookings for people in the neighborhood. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded with all the stuff we have in here. It’s not one of those polished offices you see in big cities. We have stacks of things on the counters and it’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. Court Road is a very busy spot, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We spend our time helping people with their train or bus tickets while maybe some music is playing in the background. It’s a family-run business and we’ve been here for years. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for a long time. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or have big signs everywhere. We just open up every morning and wait for people to stop by for a chat or a ticket. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
