Ahad Wood Carver

Ahad Wood Carver is located on Asif Ali Road, right in the heart of Topia Sarai. If you come by, you will definitely notice the smell of wood and the sound of chisels hitting blocks. It is a busy place, and we usually have sawdust on our clothes by the time ten o’clock rolls around. Asif Ali Road is always noisy with traffic, but we have gotten used to the sound of horns and engines over the years. Our shop in Topia Sarai is not a big showroom with bright lights. It is a real workshop where things get made by hand. We have tools that have been passed down for a while, and the workbenches are scarred from years of use. It takes a long time to carve wood properly, and we do not like to rush things. Sometimes we just sit and look at a piece of timber for a bit before we even start. People in the neighborhood often stop by just to see what we are working on that day. We do not do much in the way of fancy business talks. We just talk about the wood and what it needs to become. The space is a bit cramped and the lighting could be better, but it is where we feel most at home. We just keep our heads down and focus on the grain of the wood. It is a simple life here on Asif Ali Road, and we would not have it any other way.
