Able Engineering

If you find yourself near Indra Chowk, you’ll probably see our sign for Able Engineering. We’re tucked away on Hozkheri Road. It’s an area where people actually work with their hands. There is always the sound of metal clanging or something being welded nearby. It’s loud, it’s a bit greasy, and it’s exactly where we want to be. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll see tools scattered around and parts waiting to be put together. That’s just the nature of engineering. We fix things and we build things. Some days are spent scratching our heads over a machine that won’t start, and other days everything just clicks. Most of the guys here have grease under their fingernails and a lot of stories to tell. We’ve been at this for a long time. The building itself is old, with some cracks in the floor and a roof that leaks just a tiny bit when the rain gets really heavy. We don’t mind. It gives the place character. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big speeches or polished floors. We just want to get the job done so the customer can get back to their own work. It’s a simple trade. Hozkheri Road can get pretty dusty, but it’s a good spot for a shop like ours. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
