A. J. Rubber Industries

We’re located at F-76 in the Industrial Estate. A. J. Rubber Industries has been in this particular shed for a long time. The estate is a bit old, but it’s where all the real work happens. You can hear the sounds of machines and presses from the other units all day long. Our space is filled with the smell of raw rubber and the heat from the molds. It’s not a clean or quiet environment, but it’s where we feel at home. We make various rubber parts and components that go into all sorts of things. Most of the guys here have been working with rubber for their whole lives. We don't use any fancy software to manage things; it’s mostly done with notebooks and a lot of experience. The floor is usually covered with scraps and finished pieces waiting to be trimmed. We get our raw materials delivered at the back gate and ship out the finished goods from the front. It’s a simple process that we’ve perfected over the years. The Industrial Estate can be a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around, but F-76 is easy enough to spot once you’re on the right lane. We aren't looking to change much. We just want to keep the machines running and the orders filled. It’s hard work, but it’s what we’ve always done.
