Malathesh Traders

Malathesh Traders is located right on the Main Road in Tattur. Our address is 47-5-12, and you can’t miss us because we are right near the big rice mill. You can usually hear the hum of the mill in the background while we work throughout the day. We trade in local goods, mostly things that come from the farms around here in this part of the country. There are bags of stuff stacked up high against the walls, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of grain dust or dirt from the trucks. It’s a high-ceilinged place to keep it relatively cool during the day. Trucks are always pulling up and backing out, so it can get a bit loud and messy on the road outside. We’ve been here for years, and we know all the local farmers and the transporters who pass through. It’s a simple business of buying and selling what’s in season at the moment. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know to come to the Main Road if they need something. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a big ledger where we write everything down by hand. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy bags and checking quality, but it’s what we know how to do. Tattur is a good place for this kind of work, and we stay busy.
