Viinay Rice Mill

Viinay Rice Mill is located over in Pansheel Nagar, specifically in the Bina Ki Mangal Wari area. We’ve been running the mill here for some time now. It’s a typical local mill where we process rice for the people around this part of town. The machinery is old but it works well enough as long as we keep it greased and maintained. The sound of the hullers is something you just get used to after a few hours of work. Pansheel Nagar is a busy little pocket, and we have a lot of regular folks who bring their paddy to us. It gets pretty hot inside the mill, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. There’s always a lot of dust in the air, so we’re usually coughing a bit by the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; people usually hear about us from their neighbors. It's just a small family-run type of place where we do the milling and bagging ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out, which can be a real headache when we have a lot of rice to get through, but we just wait it out. It’s a simple life, focused on the grain and the machines. We’re just glad to have a steady place to work here in Bina Ki Mangal Wari.
