Swami Lilashah Salt Works

Our place is tucked away on Old College Road, right behind the Nagar Palika building. If you know the Sagar Bhavan area in Banspatta, you’ve probably passed by us without even realizing it. Swami Lilashah Salt Works has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Salt is one of those things nobody thinks much about until they need it, and we’re the ones making sure it's available. The yard can get a bit dusty, and on hot days, you can really feel the sun, but that’s just part of the trade. We aren’t a big factory with shiny machines everywhere. It’s more about the hands-on work and knowing the piles of salt we handle. The location is convenient for the trucks coming through, even if the road gets a bit crowded sometimes. We’ve got a small crew here. Most of us have been around for years, so we know the routine inside and out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or websites. Most people around Banspatta know where to find us if they need a load of salt. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the daily chores of the works. Being near the Nagar Palika means there’s always something happening on the street, but once you step into our area, it’s all about the salt. It’s a quiet existence mostly, just dealing with orders and piles.
