Skand Agro Food Products Private Limited is basically run out of Malaram Colony. We’re located at Sri Ganga Sagar’s place, which belongs to the son of Subedarchinor. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to delivery drivers sometimes. This part of SPN is fairly quiet, which is nice when we’re trying to get through the inventory. We focus on agro products, mostly just the daily grind of checking supplies and making sure everything is stored right. It’s not a big factory, just a decent space where we can manage the business. The colony has its own pace, and we’ve fit right into it. Most days it’s just us and the paperwork. We don’t really have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you’re on the phone and the next you’re helping move some bags. The weather can be a bit much in the summer, but the building stays fairly cool. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know what we’re about. There’s no big mission statement on the wall or anything. We just wake up, come to the office, and handle whatever comes our way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in. That’s just how it goes for us in Malaram Colony. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide decent agro products. The office gets a bit messy with all the files, but we know where everything is. It’s been a good journey so far.
