My Choice Baker & Ice Cream Parlour

Our shop is House No-33 in the Sukrawariya Haat area, right near Alankar Market. It is a good spot because the market brings in a lot of people on their errands. We do both bakery items and ice cream, so there is always a mix of smells in the air, like fresh bread and sweet cream. We start baking pretty early, and then the ice cream side of things picks up in the afternoon. It is a bit of a juggle sometimes, managing the oven and the freezers at the same time. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We have some metal shelves for the baked goods and a couple of glass-top freezers for the ice cream. It’s a lot of work keeping up with both, but we like the variety of the work. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the washing up, but we catch up eventually before we close. People like to stop in for a snack after they finish their shopping at the market. We see a lot of parents with their kids on the weekends. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we sell. It’s just bread, cakes, and ice cream. We keep the prices fair and the place open as much as we can. It’s just us doing our best to run a decent shop for the community members who stop by.
