You can find us over in the Civil Line area of Gopalganj. It is a fairly straightforward part of town and we have been at this location for a while now. The building is an older one and has that solid feel to it that you don’t get with the new constructions they are putting up lately. There is a small porch out front where people sometimes stand to get some air if the waiting room gets a bit stuffy. We don’t have any air conditioning just some ceiling fans that hum all day long and keep the air moving. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cold under your feet even in the summer heat. Civil Line is usually a bit quieter than the main market area but we still get plenty of people walking in from the nearby houses. The room where we see patients is small and has a big window that looks out onto a side alley with some trees. There’s a wooden cabinet where we keep the records and a clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when it’s quiet. We don’t really do much in the way of decorations just a few calendars and a small mirror near the sink. It’s a practical place for people who live nearby to come when they aren’t feeling well. We try to keep things organized but on busy days the papers on the desk tend to pile up a bit more than they should.
