Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

We are located at Shakahaar Setu, in the Badi Bazariya area of Bina, which is in the Sagar district of MP. It’s a lively part of town, always something happening outside the doors. Our connection to Hindustan Zinc Ltd. keeps us busy with a lot of administrative stuff. The building we are in is right in the middle of the local market buzz, so there’s always the sound of vendors and motorbikes. Inside, it’s a bit calmer, though we don't have much room to spare. We have desks pushed close together and shelves full of binders. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls; it’s more of a traditional workspace where you can actually hear the person next to you breathing. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the other branches or dealing with local logistics. Bina is a central spot, so we see a lot of people passing through. We usually have a plate of snacks on the table for anyone who drops by. It’s a very informal atmosphere, but we still get our tasks done. The power can be a bit unreliable in Badi Bazariya, so we have a backup system that kicks in with a loud groan. We just laugh about it and keep typing. It’s honest work in a busy market town, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery over the years. Most of us take the train home.
