Prakash Traders

Gujrati Bazaar is where we spend all our time. Prakash Traders is just another shop in a long line of them, but it is ours. The morning smells like spices and old wood because the bazaar has been here forever. We do not have a fancy office, just the space we need for the stock and a couple of stools for when someone stops by to chat. The floor is a bit uneven, and the shelves are stacked high with whatever we are moving that week. You have to know the layout of the bazaar to find us quickly, otherwise, you might wander into the wrong lane. It gets crowded around noon, and that is when the noise is at its peak. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name above the door that has been there since the start. Dealing with the other traders is most of what we do. It is a lot of back and forth, checking prices, and making sure the crates are handled right. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the people pass by, but usually, there is something that needs sorting. My brother helps out sometimes, but mostly it is just me and the boy who brings the mail. We do not need much else to keep things running. It is a simple life in the market, and we like the familiarity of the same faces every single day in the bazaar.
