We are based on Ram Sagar Road in Gaya, operating out of Ravi Shankar’s place. The name Grihsthi Vatika reflects that we mostly think about homes and the families that live in them. We aren't a massive firm. We're a local construction business that knows the streets and the people of Gaya. Our day-to-day involves checking on sites, talking to masons, and making sure the supplies like sand and gravel actually show up when they are supposed to. Ram Sagar Road is a central spot, so we’re never far from where the action is. We don't have a slick sales pitch. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes it gets frustrating when the rain delays everything. But that’s construction for you. We keep our office simple because we’d rather spend the money on better equipment. We’ve seen this area change a lot over the years and we’ve been part of some of that change. It feels good to be able to walk down the street and see people because we do our work properly. We just build things the way they should be built, without any shortcuts that cause trouble later on. It’s just us doing our thing on Ram Sagar Road, day in and day out, helping folks get their houses sorted out. There is always a lot to finish.
