Kirtistones

Kirtistones is based in Gopalganj. It is a quiet enough place compared to the bigger cities, and we like that. We have been working with stones for many years now. Our location is simple, mostly just a yard for the stones and a small office where we sit and talk to customers. There aren't many bells and whistles here. We focus on the material itself. Handling heavy stone all day is tough work, and it keeps us in shape. We started this business because we knew the area and saw an opportunity to work for ourselves. Most of our days are spent checking the size of the slabs and making sure the measurements are right. We aren't much for talking or fancy presentations. We would rather just show someone the stone and let them decide. Gopalganj is our home, and we have built a decent life here through this business. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we just wait it out until the ground dries up. We have a few guys who help with the loading and unloading, and we all work together pretty well. It is a modest life, and we are okay with that. We don't need much more than a steady stream of work and a bit of respect from the folks we deal with every day.
