Global Trade Observer Foundation

We are tucked away in Flat No. 5 on the second floor of Sagar Apartments. The building is at 6 Tilak Marg. It’s a busy part of town, but once you get up to the second floor, it’s a bit quieter. Global Trade Observer Foundation has been here for a while now. The apartment is basically our hub. It’s filled with books, papers, and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t have a lobby or a receptionist at the front. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when someone knocks. Tilak Marg is a great location because we are close to everything, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes during the middle of the day. We aren't a massive organization. We're just a small group of people keeping track of trade things and doing our research. It’s a lot of reading and data entry, nothing very glamorous. The office has a bit of a cramped feel because of all the files, but we know where everything is. We like it this way. It feels real. We aren't putting on a show for anyone. It's just a practical space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we have tea together in the small kitchen area when we need a break. It’s a simple life here at Sagar Apartments, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep doing what we do every day.
