Our place, Adarsh Stone Co, is located at 197 in Rampura Ward. If you know where the Chhtrasal Akhada is, we’re right near there in Saikhowa. It’s a heavy job working with stones every day. We’ve got piles of different materials sitting out in the yard. Some days it’s quiet, and other days we have trucks coming and going all morning. The yard gets messy with all the stone dust, especially when the wind picks up. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when you’re moving heavy slabs around. Usually, there's a couple of us here helping people pick out what they need for their houses or walls. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. People around here know us as the place by the akhada. It’s not a big corporate operation. We just handle the stones and make sure they get where they’re going. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but we manage. You’ll see us out there in our work clothes most of the time. We don't spend much time in the little office room we have. It’s mostly just for keeping the paperwork from blowing away. If you come by, just look for the stacks of stone near the road. We’re usually around even if we’re busy in the back.
