Om Sai Traders

If you go down Court Road near the New Bus Stand, you’ll find Om Sai Traders. It’s a busy spot because of all the people coming and going from the buses all day long. We sell a variety of things that people might need in a hurry or for their homes. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with stock, so you have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is hidden behind the counter. Most of the day is spent helping customers find specific items or unloading new boxes from the delivery van out front. It can get pretty hectic in the afternoons when the buses are full and everyone stops by at once. We don't have a website or any of those fancy things; we just open the doors and talk to whoever walks in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that kind of thing. It’s a local place where we know the regulars who stop by on their way home from work. We keep track of everything in a big ledger book on the counter, and we rarely use the calculator unless it’s a big order. It’s just a normal trading business that stays open late to make sure everyone gets what they need.
