Rajlaxmi Trading Company

We are located in Sadalga Taluka. Rajlaxmi Trading Company is a small operation that has been here for years. We are right on the main street of the town. It’s not a very big place, just a front room where we meet people and a back area for storing our goods. Life in Sadalga moves at its own pace and we don't try to rush things. We open our shop early in the morning when the air is still cool. Most of our customers are locals who we have known for a long time. We trade in things that people need for their daily lives and their farms. There is a lot of dust from the road that comes inside, so we are always cleaning the counters. We don't have any fancy technology. We use a simple calculator and a notebook to keep track of everything. Sometimes we sit on the chairs outside and watch the traffic go by. It’s mostly tractors and bicycles. We talk to the people walking past and catch up on the local news. We don't have a marketing budget or a big sign. The name is just painted on the wall above the door. It’s a very simple and honest way to make a living. We don't have employees, just a couple of us who have been doing this since we were young. We are happy to stay in Sadalga and keep serving the people who live here. It’s a quiet but steady life.
