Vardan Hospital Modasa

This hospital is located in Modasa, right in the building called Doctor House. It is tucked behind the S T Stand, which is the main bus station. Because we are behind the bus stand, we hear the horns and the engines all day long. It can be quite loud, but it makes it very easy for people coming from the villages to find us. They just get off the bus and walk a short distance. Doctor House has several other medical offices too, so the whole building has that clinical smell of disinfectant. We have our own space inside with a waiting area that usually has some people sitting on the floor if the benches are full. The walls are a pale color and could probably use a new coat of paint, but they do the job for now. I spend a lot of time at the front counter handling the registrations. Modasa is a busy town, and being so close to the transport hub means we are never really empty. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make tea for the staff. The equipment is older but it works, and we keep it maintained as best as we can. It’s a practical place for practical people. The doctors are always on the move between here and other spots. We just keep things running.
