Subramanna

Down here in Shika, which is in the Dhansura taluka, life moves at a much slower pace than in the cities. This is where I am based, under the name Subramanna. We are in the Sabarkantha district, which is a good distance away from all the noise and traffic of the big towns. The pin code is 383310. It is a rural setting, so when I look out the window, I see fields and open sky instead of tall buildings. My workspace is very basic and honest. I do not have a marketing team or any fancy slogans. It is just me and whatever work needs to be finished that day. Being in a small place like Shika means that everyone knows who you are. You cannot really hide, and I think that is a good thing. I grew up around here, so staying in this area to run my business felt like the only natural choice. I do not like using corporate talk. If someone asks what I do, I just tell them in plain English. It is about being useful and earning a living. The walls of my office are plain and the floor is just simple cement. We have exactly what we need to get by. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, but that is just part of living in Sabarkantha. I am happy with my humble setup.
