Sheth P & R High School

You can find Sheth P & R High School right on Station Road in Prantij. Being so close to the station, we often hear the trains passing by throughout the day. It’s a familiar sound for everyone here in Sabarkantha. The school building has been standing for a long time, and you can see it in the way the stone steps have worn down in the middle. We have a big gate that opens up to the main yard where we do the morning assembly. It’s usually pretty quiet until the students start arriving. The classrooms are large with high ceilings, which helps keep things a bit cooler during the hot months. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just the old fans that hum while we work. The teachers are dedicated to their subjects, often staying late to finish grading papers or helping a student who is struggling. We don’t have a lot of modern equipment, but we make do with what we have. The library is small, mostly filled with older books that have been donated over the years. On Saturdays, we usually wrap things up a bit earlier so everyone can get home. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on the basics and making sure the children are prepared for their exams. Most people in town went here themselves, so they know exactly what to expect when they send their kids to us.
